PVC Membrane Roofing Contractor

Our PVC Manufacturers consist of Duro-Last, Versico, and Johns Manville

What is PVC? PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride, and it is a type of flat or low slope roofing membrane used in commercial and industrial building construction. It is a single ply membrane made up of three components. The top layer of the roofing membrane (plasticized PVC) is what has to hold up to the elements, we call that the weathering layer. The next layer is the reinforcement or scrim layer. This is where you get your puncture resistance, tear/breaking strength and dimensional stability. The bottom layer also (plasticized PVC) helps sandwich in the middle fabric layer. PVC roof systems have a proven record of performance going back almost 40 years. PVC comes in various colors and thickness. The most common thicknesses are 50 mil, 60 mil, and 80 mil. PVC also comes with various warranties such as 10 yrs, 15yrs, 20yrs, 25yrs, and 30yr warranties. The thicker the membrane the longer the roof warranty can be. Call T&M roofing to help you go over your project and figure out your best option.
